Dr. Keith Marcus is a double board-certified facial plastic surgeon in private practice in Redondo Beach, California. He completed his Doctor of Medicine degree and ophthalmology residency at the University of California, Irvine. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in agriculture science and management, magna cum laude, from the University of California, Davis, where he was a member of The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi.

Wendy W. Lee, MD, MS

Wendy W. Lee, MD, MS, Professor of Clinical Ophthalmology and Dermatology, specializes in ophthalmic plastic and reconstructive surgery with a special interest in aesthetic medicine. Dr. Lee earned her medical degree from Tulane University School of Medicine, New Orleans, Louisiana. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California at Santa Barbara and a Master of Science degree in physiology from Georgetown University in Washington, DC. She completed both her residency and internship at Tulane University and a fellowship in ophthalmic plastic and reconstructive surgery at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine.

Dr. Lee treats a broad spectrum of oculoplastic disorders, including eyelid cancers, trauma, tearing disorders, eyelid malpositions, orbital tumors, and infection and inflammation of the lids and orbit. In addition, Dr. Lee provides the full range of services offered at the Institute’s Aesthetic Center, including blepharoptosis surgery; blepharoplasty of the upper and lower lids; brow and forehead lifts; and non-surgical cosmetic enhancements, including botulinum toxin treatments, dermal fillers, and neck injections to treat the fat underneath the chin. She also performs photorejuvenation with lights and laser skin resurfacing for the face, neck, hands, and eyelids.

Dr. Lee dedicates time to the teaching of residents, fellows, medical students, and community physicians. She is co-director of University of Miami Cosmetic Medicine, a multidisciplinary cosmetic group involving the departments of ophthalmology, dermatology, ears, nose, and throat (ENT), and plastic surgery. Together with her colleagues she organizes multispecialty trainings in cosmetic injectables, topical treatments, and lasers.

Dr. Lee conducts research at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute with special interest in eyelid reconstruction, the aging eyelid skin, and aesthetic lasers. She also lectures around the world on oculoplastic disorders and aesthetic treatments related to the eye. She has been featured on CNN for her charitable work on patients from Third World countries. She has also been featured on local news channels such as NBC and WSFL, and is often quoted in women’s interest magazines such as Allure, Marie Claire, and Women’s Health regarding aesthetic treatments around the eyes.

Keith Marcus, MD

Dr. Keith Marcus is a double board-certified facial plastic surgeon in private practice in Redondo Beach, California. He graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with honors and attended medical school at the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. After medical school, he completed a five-year residency at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, where he specialized in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. In Michigan, he spent five years training under one of the world’s most renowned facial plastic surgeons, Dr. Shan Baker. Subsequently, he completed one of the busiest and most diverse Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery fellowships in the United States.

Dr. Marcus received an award for passing his facial plastic surgery boards in the 99th percentile, and won the prestigious John Orlando Roe Award, given by the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, for his groundbreaking research. Dr. Marcus has also served as an oral board examiner for the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery since 2014.

Dr. Marcus balances his busy clinical practice with his passion for education and research. He lectures, teaches and trains on a weekly basis, in addition to performing clinical research and clinical trials for new product indications. He travels both nationally and internationally to teach and educate on expert techniques for noninvasive aesthetic modalities, including injectables and lasers. Dr. Marcus strives to treat patients with respect and integrity while achieving optimal cosmetic results.

Steve Yoelin, MD

Steve Yoelin, MD, is a board-certified ophthalmologist based in Orange County, California, with over 22 years of experience in minimally invasive medical aesthetics, such as techniques using dermal fillers, collagen stimulators, and neurotoxins, as well as fat reduction procedures. He serves as a strategic advisor to companies ranging in size from innovative early-stage startups to multibillion-dollar industry leaders. He also operates a private practice that focuses on aesthetic injectables and has a multiyear waitlist, which he has built exclusively from repeat visits and word-of-mouth referrals.

Dr. Yoelin has trained other clinicians through 2,500+ industry-sponsored global training programs and hundreds of continuing medical education programs. He has also led dozens of clinical trials (Phases 1-4) and investigator-initiated trials and has authored or co-authored many peer-reviewed journal articles, posters, presentations, and a book chapter. In addition, he has been awarded several patents for his research.

Dr. Yoelin has performed dozens of fresh-frozen cadaver dissections over the past several years.
